Baptism
Committee
The Baptism Committee is charged with taking care of all the details relating
to the actual mechanics of the baptism service.
Prayer Coordinator
The Prayer Coordinator is charged with providing prayer support to all aspects
of the Baptism Celebration event. Every element of the “Celebration of Baptism”
event should be bathed in prayer. Following are some ways you can organize your
prayer strategy.
Service Planning Team
The service planning team is charged with the actual planning of the Baptism
Celebration service, including date, time, order of worship, etc. This team
could just consist of the pastor and minister of music/worship, or it could
have more members if necessary.
Attendance/ Outreach/ Evangelism Coordinator
The Attendance/Outreach/Evangelism Coordinator is charged with the task of
fostering attendance of the Baptism Celebration event, and of effectively
sharing the Gospel with all who attend.
Follow-Up Coordinator
The Follow-Up Coordinator is charged with linking new believers/interested
seekers with the proper groups and individuals within the local church who will
help the new believer with assimilation and ongoing growth in discipleship.
