Attendance/Outreach/Evangelism Coordinator
The Attendance/Outreach/Evangelism Coordinator is charged with the task of fostering attendance of the Baptism Celebration event, and of effectively sharing the Gospel with all who attend.
- Institute an “Operation Andrew” campaign to mobilize church members to invite and bring people to the Baptism Celebration service to introduce them to Jesus Christ. Information on Operation Andrew is available from the Event Evangelism Unit of the North American Mission Board at www.namb.net or by calling them at 770-410-6000
- Work with baptism candidates to identify people in their W.O.R.L.D. to invite to the service. Information on this is available in the Attract Seekers section.
- If a “come forward” or counseling room type of invitation is used, train decision counselors to provide spiritual encouragement to and to share the Gospel with those who respond. Use the Personal Commitment Guide available from the Event Evangelism Unit of the North American Mission Board at www.namb.net or by calling them at 770-410-6304.
- If a response card method of invitation is used, work with the Follow-Up Coordinator to provide people trained in evangelism to contact each respondent.
